Altar Ministry

Spiritually sensitive, loving, and caring believers meet people at the altar every week to pray the prayer of agreement according to God's will.

God is glorified, prayers are answered.

Requirements: Summit Christian Center membership, a personal relationship with God, and completion of training.

Ambassadors

We offer a personal touch and make a great first impression at Summit. We strive to make a "WOW" first impression for everyone who enters the doors at Summit! You can serve newcomers at Summit by answering questions, escorting families to the Nursery, King's Court and Elevate or showing them our new Bookstore and Cafe. In short, you’ll be a personal guide offering a friendly face to all in need of direction or help.

- Serve either Saturday 4:15-5:20 (approx.) or Sunday 8:15-11:20(approx.)

Greeters

Our Greeters Ministry is an organized way for our members to help visitors feel welcome. Our desire is to create "WOW" experiences so people will want to return and will feel God's love while they are here! Greeters are that familiar face that they see when they come in. Greeter teams serve on alternate weekends. Trading scheduled times is allowed.

Security

Do you have a security mind-set? The security team provides a safe, secure, and orderly environment for our Senior Pastor, leaders and congregation. A security background is not necessary.



Requirements: Summit Christian Center membership & a desire to serve in a security environment. Background checks are done on all applicants.

Ushers

Help create an environment where people feel welcome and are free to hear the message without any worry or distraction. Primary tasks include seating people comfortably, collecting offering, and distributing communion. The team meets 20 minutes prior to each service to go over assignments and pray. Ushers then assist people from the beginning to the end of service.

Love to talk on the phone? Friendly and knowlegable about Summit? Here's an opportunity to serve from the comfort of your own home. Make calls to first time visitors during the evenings and input results online weekly.
